In 2022, it was reported that almost half of all 16\u201325-year-olds had gone to bed hungry in the last twelve months.<\/h2>

For The MAZI Project founder Melanie Vaxevanakis and the Bristol-based CIC\u2019s new ambassador Maisie Williams, this is both devastating and unacceptable. That\u2019s why Mel set up The MAZI Project during lockdown in 2020, with the CIC now supporting hundreds of care leavers, youth recovering from homelessness and young asylum seekers living in supported accommodation. Today, it\u2019s also why actor Maisie Williams \u2013 who herself experienced food insecurity in her youth \u2013 has joined Mel to raise awareness of this important and urgent issue.\u00a0<\/p>
